Andriy Lunin wife has deleted a post taking pop at Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Real Madrid went on to win the match 5-3 but Kepa was guilty of a clanger when he tried to catch a cross but ended up flapping it onto Antonio Rudiger’s leg and into the net for an own goal at 2-2.

It led to quite the reaction from Madrid fans on social media, while Lunin’s wife Anastasia was quick to post.

She uploaded a photo of herself with her husband with the caption: “For sure, number one.”

The post was quickly deleted but not before it had been widely shared among Real Madrid fans.

Arrizabalaga was signed by Carlo Ancelotti last summer on loan from Chelsea for the season after Thibaut Courtois ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

Having initially starting ten out of Real’s first 11 LaLiga matches after signing, the Spain international has fallen down the pecking order.

Lunin, who had been Courtois’ understudy, has since been promoted to the first-team and has impressed between the sticks so far.

The Ukrainian was signed in 2018 but has had to wait for his chance in the starting XI and has finally got it, though what that means for Kepa remains to be seen.

The 29-year-old is only on loan at the Bernabeu and could return to Chelsea in the summer where his future is uncertain after Robert Sanchez and Dorde Petrovic were brought in.

And his immediate future is also under question marks with Real Madrid set to face Barcelona or Osasuna in the Spanish Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia.

Lunin could be brought back into the side for the upcoming clash, which would further compound Kepa’s position on the bench.

With Courtois set to return to fitness over the summer, it could see Kepa return to Chelsea over the summer.

At Stamford Bridge, the goalkeeper still has one year left on his contract but could find himself third-choice under Mauricio Pochettino.

That would be a big problem for the Blues, where he is among the highest earners on their wage bill.

Kepa signed from Athletic Bilbao by Chelsea in 2018 for a world record fee for a goalkeeper at £71.6million as a Courtois replacement, who left London for Madrid that summer.
