Rashford made the post after the game against Everton yesterday,
Rashford needed a goal as he’s been struggling with a goal drought lately, but it went a long way towards ensuring United came away with all three points as we moved up to sixth in the Premier League.
Rashford was let take the penalty after being ordered by captain Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes and Erik ten Hag will hope the goal gives Rashford the confidence boost he needs. It certainly shows good leadership on the captain’s behalf, despite being questioned for not having the right leadership qualities since getting the armband.
