Paul Scholes believes Alejandro Garnacho “went up another level” in his development after putting in an excellent performance in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea
The 19-year-old was involved in much of the attacking play, grabbing an assist for match hero Scott McTominay’s second goal of the night. Garnacho himself mustered eight shots during the match, albeit only one was on target.
Scott McTominay may have taken man of the match but Scholes was more impressed with his Man Utd teammate Alejandro Garnacho at Old Trafford

he got himself into some good positions, and perhaps felt he should have done better with a number of chances, but was a handful for the Chelsea defence all night. “I thought Garnacho was excellent,” Scholes told Premier League Productions.
“I thought he was probably the best player on the pitch. I know Scott scored two goals and got player of the match but I thought Garnacho was excellent and he went up another level tonight.”
